A whole small toothed tiger shark has been washed up on lepe beach in Hampshire which is on the south coast of England. This is an incredibly rare sighting in UK waters and the cousin of the long tooted tiger shark. Self appointed shark experts rushed to the beach but the head, tail and fins were missing. These scientists are asking for the head to be returned so they can carry out experiments on it.

Tom guesses the fins are probably already soup but what about the head? What's going on here guys. What's happened to the head ?

It's all over the news

Well, Quint would have been disappointed.

He usually wants "the head, the tail...the whole damn thing".

Souvenir hunters, the jaw will make a great talking piece. That said plenty of pictures on the net showing it intact so maybe a urban myth.

Reports that removing the head off a dead shark on the beach is not a criminal offence and the act will not be investigated as a crime by the chief of police's men

I believe officers is a suitable and at the same time gender neutral term

Dan Snow the TV journo has joined in the search promising whoever has the head can keep it if scientists can get to it first. There is literally hundreds of these buggers in the sea. Why are people so interested in this one and why did they take the head. More to this story than meets the eye. Chinese medicine perhaps.its still all over the news

Somewhere In The Ether…

Clearly, the head and tail missing is an alarming and sure fire sign that a Megalodon has bitten them off and is swimming around our coastline.

I’m calling in Jason Statham right now
