Only problem with it being a roll is trying to distinguish between a product where sausages are in a breast product and sausage meat in pastry whilst ordering in Greggs.

A roll or a bap in my case

This always caused hell when we worked up North. I was the only one who could order food half the time because I’ve lived all over the uk.

Scotland was my favourite. I watched one of our younger lads asking for fish and chips over and over again getting more irate each time. They had no clue what he wanted because they served fish supper.

The sign by the river that says beck in Stafford caused laughter too. Southerners and South Africans think Becks a girls name.
