Having read the threads about people being in situations out of their control and physical assaults taking place with them either involved or on the sidelines, do you think about you or the people with you and their safety?

How do you keep yourselves safe?

I'm like a mother hen, making sure everyone I'm with is safe, on a night out, I'm the one searching for the missing one who's off in a corner snogging, making sure everyone gets home. If something is kicking off, I get myself and who I'm with out of there pronto

For the majority of my meets I spend a lot of time getting to know them before we meet. I rely on gut instinct and common sense to lead my decisions, not my cock.

For the benefit of the single ladies I meet I try and be as open and honest as I can so they can see I'm one of the good guys. I've even encouraged them to approach previous meets and ask about me if they want to.

Trust your instincts, don't take unecessary risks and if it's too good to be true, then it probably isn't true... follow that and you won't go far wrong.

My shithead radar is always switched on and I can read a situation pretty quickly. If it looks like it's going tits up, I get one in first before they know what's hit them.

Bought 8 years ago at the end of a night out I have my £20 to one of the girls out so she could get a taxi home and I'd walk.

Got jumped by 3 lads and put in hospital.

I'd rather it happen to me and know someone else got home safe.

I always go by my guy instinct and make sure I get to know them before meeting. Also I know some people may be funny with this but I also ask for full name and give it to my friend (her suggestion), not all guys want to do this and I understand so will just go on my gut instinct more then
