"Just a few hints but everyone is different, my own experience. I have tried all of the so called diet aids. What worked is cutting alcohol down to a minimum, minimising all bad carbs. Exercise 20k steps a day usually, walking dog and other exercise. Eating 3 times day, cereal with fruit, light lunch or light tea (if you have a full lunch). Do not eat after 8pm not always possible, so no late night snacks. Green tea before bed, i didn't know until somebody told me that one. Also i found that you plateau regularly (loose a few pounds and then stop) which is frustrating but if you keep at it. Fasting you loose weight but your body goes in to starvation mode when you eat again and you put it all back on. Lost 2st just following the above " Well done you, that's great! I'm fairly strict about the 3 meals and eating early in the evening apart from when Im on holiday... Luckily I'm in a position where I currently don't need to lose any weight. My general advice is a balanced nutritious diet, everything in moderation and plenty of exercise preferably outdoors. Although the indoors variety helps too.... | |||

"Look up intermittent fasting and decide if it’s something you willing to try. " I was going to suggest the same, also what does your diet consist of, type of excersise as we get older we have to take that into consideration, dna, how much time do you have to get and maintain one. Getting one is quite easy, keeping it is the hard work. | |||
