Make it relevant to the profile you are contacting. Generic cut and paste type messages are not going yo stand out

To many hi, how are you , they literally do nothing to grab attention, bearing in mind our profile is open to men even though we not looking for we do engage in the right messages,

To be honest, short 1st messages don't bother me as long as there's something to actually reply to (not just one word), I don't expect an essay or bullet points from our profile, if I like the look of the profile messaging I'll reply, if I don't I won't, regards of the 1st message.

Usually with a question about something they've said or indicated on their profile. An actual question is more likely to get a response I find. If the answer can be fine or thanks it's not much of a question.

I'd suggest you say something about yourself and what you and the profile you're messaging have in common.

What's in it for the person you're messaging to want to chat to you?

So many messages are so samey. They give no reason to want to reply.

Read their profile fully and reply depending on profile , if we like it we will say " love your profile , please take a look at ours and if you are interested please get in touch " .....you can personalise it buy adding names or details from the profile.

I don't reply to messages unless I've already met the person or chatted on the forums or its about events but if I were to message someone I would read their full profile and ask about something on there

I can only speak for myself but I cannot stand small talk no patience for it so
