Didn’t know this. That’s a shame. She definitely helped to normalise female sexuality and make it mainstream.

When I was young I thought I must be a freak because I loved sex when all the women around me just seemed to tolerate it. She blasted that idea out of the water - and I’m grateful to her for it.

I knew nothing much about her other than what I have read today but I'm very sorry to see this.

He didn’t found Anne Summers. He purchased the business. The guy who started it named it after his wife Annice Summers
