My favourite corsets and sexy undies have those plastic stays in them.

Some have become bent and stick in me.

I have tried to bend them back. Any advise on reshaping them ?

Thank you

I've never tried it but I was wondering if gently warming them and bending them back into shape might do it. It's really annoying isn't it

Perhaps moderately warm iron would help

Ive recently been going to the gym and lost some bulk. Was so excited to get back into my outfits

Excellent .

How about warming them with the hairdryer while coaxing them into shape, maybe while wearing them

I gather you mean the bones? Warming them will work but it will be short term as it weakens it.

Have you debated celebrating with some new whalebone corsets?

Hot iron and tea towels. Don't let the iron come in contact with the fabric. Once you have gone over them add weight such as heavy books till they cool. If your handy with basic stitching you can replace the plastic with metal boning just make sure to buy the correct length. It's pretty easy and you just need a couple of closing stitches. Hope this helps

Steel boned corsets hold their shape (and the wearers) far better.

If you can switch, it's totally worth it

Brighton - even Hove!

I knew this lady who wore a corset. She was really uptight.
