What is the right job for me? Serious answers only please. Want a hybrid / remote job but also where I could travel to different cities / countries occasionally. My background is in retail management so not super savvy with digital marketing / tech to be honest…

You need to do marketing for a tech company that all work from home, but need you to travel to trade fairs. Lol

Have you thought about taking a course to help change job, contact some employmant agencies which might be able to help you. I changed from teaching and now have hybrid working.

Training might be a good option. Lots of training day course preparation will be done from home and then potentially on location visits for delivery.

Other than that you're probably looking at sales and marketing.

Ultimately though what you are describing is the type of role for someone who is already very knowledgeable in a field

Youtube content. The issue is, whatever you choose to create, your content needs to be either excellent, or you need to find a niche.

Totally doable though. I know someone who quit his day job and now makes twice what he earned, slogging his guts out in an office job.

How about freelance journalism? You could do the research and writing at home, but travel to see subjects/countries etc.

Become self-employed. I am. I was at home most of today but this morning I went to see one customer and then went for a coffee. Been at home since lunchtime and did a bit of paperwork in the afternoon. Tomorrow I am meeting two customers to collect fees. Wednesday I don't know what I will be doing. Thursday I am out walking with a friend and Friday I am away to Co Cork as it's St Patrick's weekend. I typically only work two days a week and I stopped doing 4/5 days a week some time ago. I just charge more than I used to and work less.

The dot in the i

Creating things at home and travelling to sell them, you could make anything from crochet to wine and sell it on market stalls around the country or something maybe

Surly you'd be better looking on job advertising app, rather than asking on a swingers site. Just an idea.

The shit answer is.... Even if someone comes up with an answer you may struggle to get it ...

Because ATM you are looking to take from the company (hybrid working and paid hotels) yet it seems you have little to offer (assuming it's a new industry)

Id say stick with what you know and research the market there. I'd imagine some companies are trying to use hybrid to attract new staff. They are your best bet.

Not something you can walk into but some sales roles give you this. The trendy title now is Key Account Management, looking after sales and service in my case nationally (I used to do it internationally)

It takes some years to get there though.
