Tomatoes, cucumber, peppers etc all available with variety. Other stuff perfectly fine. No issues here whatsoever. | |||

They are allowed to move freely but within the confines of the barn. They're not allowed outside however. | |||

"He hasn't quoted it. The words were put under his face in a meme. The phrase comes from an essay submitted to the WEF, not written by Schwab. It was a submisssion for creative writing ideas of how the future MAY (and I've put that in capitals) look. It wasn't part of any policy suggested by anyone at the WEF. Well known conspiracy theorist Mark Moss and Russell Brand started sharing content online claiming it was all part of an agenda by the WEF rather than what it actually was - a piece of creative writing written about the future. The BS exponential growth was down to sites like 4chan sharing it alongside other conspiracy theories and the fake story grew from there. Even the original author has stated it came from her, not the WEF. It doesn't take long to find the truth about these things but hey - a conspiracy always sounds more fun doesn't it.

And that's how panic buying starts, from one person exaggerating their experience. If I was the panicky type, OP, I would have read your post as "oh God, there is food shortage, quick, stock up!". Luckily a) I don't tend to panic and b) went to my local Lidl yesterday and there was plenty of food, including fresh produce. I would have thought the beginnings of the pandemic taught people a thing or two, particularly how quickly small issues with supply chain at shops could cause country-wide panic buying. | |||

" I'll fess up that a couple of times in early to mid 2020 I did that. If it had been 4 (weekly) shops since I'd seen Item X (non perishable), I'd buy double item X next time I saw it so I didn't run out again. Not like, buying 30kg of pasta. More like, I use a lot of tomato puree in my cooking, so when I went six weeks without finding any, I bought several next time I saw it. (And then used it until it ran out before buying more) | |||
