I'm back up at 5am in morn so limited myself to 6 pints this after. Any more I'd be feeling fuzzy. Double figures I'd be turning the alarm off

For me its less about the amount and more about which alcohol I'm drinking. Still cider causes less hangover than fizzy cider. A red wine, gin or rum hangover is.... unpleasant, but (good) vodka with orange juice is my hangover free alcohol.

I discovered last night that apple sours does not seem to increase a hangover but I'm well aware that whiskey is devil's juice.

I've also learned to eat no later than the 2nd pint and have a mega pint of water or squash when I get home.

I cant drink beer, I cant get past the first mouthful of the dreadful stuff I would be asleep after about 2 wines if there was no one to keep me awake, but I could probably keep going on fruity ciders all night, to the loo that is. I am a hopeless drinker now

Depends on the ABV. I recently bought a pint I didn't look at the ABV. Drank it started feeling tipsy. Looked at the can in was 11.5. needless to say one was enough lol.

So how many tangerines do I need to eat to equal a glass of orange…..because I need to improvise as I’ve not got juice.

Depends on food and water intake on the days leading up and what your consuming, but for me I try and sneak a water in every few drinks or my head will feel like someone is playing bongos with my brain for the whole next day.
