The future of Star Trek

Just watched the latest episode of Picard - No Win Scenario - another brilliant episode directed by Jonathan Frakes (William T Riker).

To be honest, Paramount just needs to give the franchise to Frakes. He has consistently shown what a great director he is, and how much he loves the lore.

Frakes could be Star Treks Kevin Feige or Jon Favreau.

Couldn't agree more, this is what Picard should have been since series one.

Let's hope it doesn't turn into something inclusive and trash like star wars has.

I am sick of the direction star wars has gone in flushing itself down the pan.

Never been a massive SW fan, I grew up on Trek. Saying that Obi Wan Kenobi and Andor are great shows.

The lightsaber duel was epic. Rogue One and Kenobi gave given us glimpses of what Vader was, how brutal he was. Done far more for the character than the Prequels or original trilogy managed to do.

With the exception of Vader, OWK was a terrible show.

The absolute worst choreographed, filmed, and edited chase scene on television (and that is not the child's fault).

A strategic building of great importance not having defenses because "nobody would dare attack it"

The ultimate in child smuggling disguises... an oversized rain coat.

Go around the gate!

Oh there are so many more things wrong with it too.

Better than Picard for sure, Orville is funny. But can’t beat old school Voyager imo

There was questionalble moments but the redemtion story of Kenobi and Anakin releiving him of any blame before the Vader identity took hold. To mirror this Anakin fully giving himself to fully embace the Vader persona was heart beaking to watch but is what he needed.

I hope the they leave Kenobi alone now and we get a full Vader series that is dark.

Only watched the original Star Wars

Do I need to watch anything before trying Mandalorion?

Everything except the sequal trilogy and solo.

Now go to your room and don't come out until you have watched everything, no dinner either.

Only thing that bugs me is no one seems to use the toilet before using transporters or away missions and there doesnt seem any onboard public toilets either . But besides that Picard is getting intresting

Thats because the transporters remove any poo from your body every time you use one.

They have poo transporters in the future, no need to sit on a khazi and read the paper
