Whilst unacceptable, this occurred somewhere in the order of 44yrs ago, if your age is correct. I'm not convinced modern policing is the same now, as it was in 1979. It definitely has flaws, but it's changed wholesale since the late 70s.

There gutless and scared to do there jobs...

I mean look how they have performed with the eco muppets blocking the m25 etc...

Imagine the guardia civil etc in Spain...

They would of told them once to move...

My friend reported someone to crimestoppers anonymous for supplying kids with class A. This was months ago and the dealer is still doing it.

In your opinion or proven in a court?

How many times have you been in trouble with the rozzers for you to have had that many bad experiences?

The average law abiding person has very few interactions with Plod, outside of the odd traffic infringement, throughout their whole life. If you have regular negative dealings with them, it suggests you may be something of a scrote...in which case you can fully expect to encounter both bad and good cops. Of course, from a scrote's perspective, they are all bad.

"too many to mention ... "

I met some horrific cops in Leeds at the weekend. I got lost in the centre and parked up at the train station. One came over and signalled at me to wind my window down, smiled at me, asked me if I was lost, gave me directions and recommended a cheap car park.

Being a shite driver with zero sense of direction i’ve had many such traumatic altercations with the police over the years.

little house on the praire

When we where younger and went to the local night club. If they thought you was too pissed to walk home they gave us a lift.

When I was a kid it was normal for the Bobby on the beat to give you a slap(I never got one)

Local police here of which they are very fee are always part of the community

I know some good people who are police officers.

I also know that last year the system failed me horribly on multiple occasions in multiple ways. And that that's not down directly to the individual officers that did eventually respond.

Blame the government and the lack of funding for that. Police can only do what they can with the limited resources they have....

My friend is an officer for WMP, he is normally based in Birmingham but lately because of County lines in my area he has been deployed elsewhere, there are just not enough officers to deal with situations as they arise.. literally him and another to oversee the whole town. It's a terrifying thought.....lack of resources, officers quitting because of mental health, sickness all factor in. That doesn't account for officers who have been attacked whilst on duty....He's one of the good ones out of lots of other good ones.

Thankless job done by most trying their best. I think people just jump on the band wagon and criticise law enforcement but then when shit goes wrong pick up the phone and expect them to come running.

Always gonna be a bent cop, builder, plumber, banker, car salesman etc but actually most people just try do a good job.

Or maybe I'm just niave.
