Fear not; I’m presently sporting a really drab grey theme on my bed.

I honestly can’t remember buying it nor exactly WHY I might have purchased it….

I've just stripped my bed, but normally have silk sheets, duvet cover, and pillowcases. Only when I'm expecting somebody round. If not, it's normally cotton.

Yves Delorme™, the "Adagio" range.

Silky-smooth high-grade Supima cotton. The fabric is smoother than a lady's derrière on a first date.

I think the idea of it was right when it started but then it just went downhill. I was going to say based on the tv show “They can afford bedding?”

I don't use the bed in my bedroom, the sofa in there is super comfy so I don't have "bedding" as such - my 'leisure space' - is an amalgamation of russet, purple, creams, gold, cotton & velvet throws & massive cushions. I literally just dive in

I think approximately 95% of the bedding in the town is likely nicked…

I am in winter mode when it comes to my bedding - a light grey teddy bear bedding, fluffy and warm. It's like it gives you a warm, welcoming hug as soon as you get under it.

It's certainly classy.

Don't forget OP: a gentleman is often found in a fine pair of shoes or a delicious bed, but never at the same time.

Currently have a metal frame holding the duvet off my leg. It means I don't have enough duvet so there's a fetching blue blanket draped over my side of the bed. The bedding set is cotton, red and white polka dots. We've just bought new brushes cotton bottom sheets which will be cosy.

KC², I've been meaning to ask you for quite some time: does Mr KC, who is a bit of Longshanks, have issues with his feet hanging out from the duvet at the end of the bed? Do you have bespoke bed linen? And, do you hog the confounded duvet?

We have a standard double bed. Not queen or king sized. It's therefore 6ft 6in long and he is 6ft 4in. I think he sleeps on a slight diagonal. He has more duvet, I have more of the flat sheet

Nuffink special

I dont like duvets so I just have a heavy woolly blanket over a soft and fluffy blanket so no itch and cream sheets and whatever pillow cases hit the top of the pile. Nothing matches I am also experimenting with a weighted blanket which is great but grey. And then I have a little square of blanket at the opposite corner to my feet for kitty to sleep on otherwise she hogs my space and is in danger of being pinged off in the night if I stretch. My bed is made for comfort not style.

I really like those strategically placed satin throws on the lower part of a bed.

I don’t have one as it would doubtlessly be on the floor every morning due to my wriggling about though.

Duvet cover all the colours of the rainbow. Huge pictures of butterflies in flight. Pillow covers to match the duvet cover. Sheets are good quality cotton, deep burgundy red, self striped as the weave goes one way then the other.

I have new sheets I’ve just put them on.

They’re really really really fluffy and cream and I have quite a high thread count fitted sheet. Tonight I’m going to be falling asleep in a fluffy cloud.

I always have quite a lot of big cushions and scatter cushions too
