"Anyone else who drives early mornings or late at night think that some head lights on vehicles are just to bright and not needed to be as bright as they are at first I honestly thought people were driving with full beams or headlight needed to be adjusted they really hurt my eyes to be honest " me especially when they are coming toward you on a nearside right-hand bend

"It is blinding when on coming traffic is dazzling you just no need what so ever to be as bright as they are, as long as oncoming traffic can see you and driver can see a fair distance in front, god knows how many accidents have been caused by these new lights car manufacturers need to sort this out and should be some legislation as to how bright " true but can also be to do with the drivers eyes it never used to bother me

I have to slow right down if someone is behind me as it lights my whole car up. I flashed someone because I thought they had their full beam on. They flashed back and it lit up the whole county.

"A majority of new cars leave the factory with miss aligned headlights. This is left to the dealer on a pre delivery check to adjust the beam. This is mostly over looked on the first check. So for the next 3 years it will be on the road dazzling other road users. This is also the case at the first mot and future mots where the headlights may not be adjusted and left. Totally dangerous especially on a road with double parking on both sides. I have had situations when I have drove past cars blindly and just made it without clipping door mirror a really close shave. So really more needs to be done with alignment and also folk who put bulbs in the wrong way, yes that will alter the image and its path ahead. My opinion " Some , may have alignment issues but the major problem is just the shear intensity of the lights. I drive single track country lanes a lot in the dark, I have noticed an increasing number of oncoming vehicles do not notice your headlights around blind bends because their lights are so bright ,they just light up everything. It used to be a lot safer driving lanes in the dark, as opposed to daylight because you could tell there were lights coming towards you some ways away and around blind bends

My opinion " as far as I know most car manufacturers Do set the beam set when the car is put through a dynamic vehicle test and tow in and tracking is done so will not leave the factory with the head lights misaligned and is also checked randomly by a quality inspector
