Speaking to a friend ; there was a very posh estate where we lived that was notorious for a swinging scene. Many of our friends parents were part of it. Is swinging more discreet now?

Tatooine

To answer that I would beak the swinging oath, can you recite the swingers code of conduct for me or tell show me the secret handshake.

*whisper* With the forefinger tip of the right hand that's been moistened slightly by tip of tongue, make a small circling motion in the left palm of the handshaker, three times. Throw hands up in the air, bring them down dramatically & shake them together *whisper*

No more bizarre than the "Square Dealers" in Coronation St.

"Have you been to all 4 corners of the room..."

Understood "

I often wondered why I saw upturned tins of pineapples in front room windows when I were a lad

I moved to a 70's estate in a small village close to where I grew up. When i moved in, the first thing my old man said when I bought the house was "Thats on swingers lane".A statement I took with a pinch of salt until I was chatting with one of the old boys in the village pub (who lives on the estate) and he said there were about 5 couples who had parties there in the 70s early 80's, with he and his wife being one.

Any pineapple on offer would have definitely been on a cocktail stick with a lump of cheese ,stick stuck into a potato covered in tin foil.
