Central

Following on from the helpful tips of where not to bother visiting.

Pisa - why queue to see a building so far from home, when holding your camera at the correct angle, makes anywhere seem bent/dodgy. Or just add the lean into how you stand, whilst posing by it.

You know what, I was holidaying in Tuscany a few years ago (I’m aware how middle class that sounds) and took my son for the day to Pisa and we actually had a blast. Everyone is there for that silly photo and it’s really fun to see everyone doing the classic pose pretending to hold it up. You’re all there for the same thing (not unlike a swingers club!) and not ashamed. So for me, it’s not going in room 101!

Deepest darkest Peru

Capri, over priced and so so busy. So much that restaurants and cafes hurried you to vacate your tables

Most resorts. Like, you're paying to be a culturally homogeneous bubble with nicer weather.

Pisa agreed, but then it's worth it to see the hundreds of people trying to take the same crap 'holding the building up photo.

I visited Hobart, in Tasmania. Well, let's just say I was itching to get back to the 'mainland'.

Iceland.... just thought it was a bit crap. Much more impressive glaciers and waterfalls in other parts of the world with much bigger land masses. Everything there seems mini in comparison and far too busy.

I seem to be in the minority who has this opinion though.

Mount Everest. It's just rock and cold, plus your eyes can only take so much in, that Matlock heights cam seem as big. It's getting filthy too, with the hordes of tourists and their litter.

Mainly under the bed...

Wolverhampton and its twin in Scotland; Kirkcaldy.

I'd feel bad for the bulldozer if we were allowed to start them again.
