How long before you delete any unread sent messages? I think timing your messages is key! If you message someone you think may respond and they're offline it can get lost in the 100s of messages women/couples get, don't wanna keep messaging obviously so how long before you personally delete?

One of the problems is the site doesn't update quick enough, so you see someone online, send them a message and then see they went offline 10 minutes earlier!, so annoying

Once sent it’s all on its own.

If it’s not responded too then we assume it’s unwanted mail and forget about it.

I delete them as soon as I send them so I don't have the stress of seeing them unread

Once I’ve sent a message I don’t go back and check if they’ve read it, I just wait for a reply and if there isn’t one it gets forgotten about.

I clear our inbox and sent mail regularly though.

Carlisle usually

Delete it from your sent box as soon as it is sent to avoid obsessing over it. It'll remain in their inbox.

That is actually a brilliant idea

Ignore your outbox, your inbox is the one that matters.

If I don't get a response, it's not the end of the world. They're busy, or just not into you

If I ignore my outbox I'd have nowt to do if I just looked at my inbox
