So you start chatting with someone and look to potentially meet, would it put you off if they met someone that you wasn’t keen on whether it be their personality or views from forum?

Definitely. Especially if that person posted racist, homophobic or misogynistic comments.

"So you start chatting with someone and look to potentially meet, would it put you off if they met someone that you wasn’t keen on whether it be their personality or views from forum? "

Definitely. It would make me question whether we actually were a good match after all.

Has this happened to you, OP? No names necessary, of course.

For us yes, we can't and shouldn't impose our choices on anyone else but we also know what we like or are into and that again is our choice.

No it’s not happened to me, I was just having a browse and thought if this scenario happened what would I do. Then thought let me ask others

Umm, it depends.

If I don't like them as in we just don't click or have nothing in common, then it's irrelevant.

If they're meeting people I know to be genuinely unpleasant or high risk, I'd prefer to avoid until I'd cleared that in my own head.

It would be more on how they act and views then?

Yes it totally would .

In the past I've changed my mind about meeting someone ,not from the forum though.

Hell If I see a unsavoury comment it changes my mind about a person.

If one of my partners wants to fuck a tory or a xenophobe or whatever, then that's their choice and I trust them to make the right decisions for the situations theyre in. But someone I don't know and trust, I will assume either more alignment with ideals I find repulsive or that they simply don't care who they fuck as long as they get laid, which isn't something I find appealing.

Yeah I completely understand and agree with that

Yes, because shared interests and conflict of interests rarely go well together.

I'm specifically referring to "racist, homophobic or misogynistic" views as someone above just mentioned, and not benign opinions on flavours of ice cream.

It depends why I don’t like them.

I’ve known people end friendships over people they have met, and others who have cancelled meets purely based on forum interactions.

It would completely depend on why I didn't like the person. The main reason would be I would avoid someone is if they met someone that I know who thrives on the background drama on here.It is just easier to avoid that than meet someone and then end up being dragged into all the bullshite that happens and the nastiness that can follow.

It would totally depends why I don't like them, could be a number of reasons, it may make me question compatibility but only if there was a very good reason for not liking the other person, generally I don't think it would bother me much. I'm more interested in the person I'm meeting than who they've met with

Erm... yes. I don't care how awful that is. I get the ick and my sexual attraction vanishes. I'm talking about certain things here.

A woman I think is a bit of a throbber?

Everyone's a little bit of a throbber so not so much.

It's really situational.

Erm... people still find out. A veri really isn't the only source of knowledge. The only way you don't find out is if absolutely no one tells anyone, no friends etc. No obvious references.

It's a bit like Trip Advisor. You don't rely on what could be highly subjective or even a work of fiction...

Yes.

It brought my recent arrangement to a very sharp and sudden death when they played with ones I consider undesirable and then doubled down with bitchy party politics to preserve their golden ticket to the shag olympics.

Fab changes people over time. Some for the better, some not.
