Nothing.

My mantra is a moment on the crumpet, a lifetime on your bumpet.

Morden

Fried or poached egg - let the yolk drain into the holes.

Sometimes, I take a giant crumpet, toast it, then melt cheese on it and top it all off with an egg.

Not really a topping but when I did slimming world years ago they suggested breaking up a crumpet in a stew instead of dumplings. Obviously wasn’t the same but it wasn’t too bad to be fair.

Just butter for me, but enough that when you bite into it, I dribbles down your chin to the point it glistens in the light, and then just when you thought you caught it all, you go back in as it calls to you again

How have I never thought of putting a runny egg on them?! I'm appalled in myself

Why does that sound like it should be in a erotic novel

Because anything can be erotic if you tried hard enough

.

Really good butter. I really want to try Guernsey butter on a crumpet.

But if I've got a bit of time to spare?

Sliced avocado, everything but the bagel seeds, poached egg and chilli flakes. So good.

That's the best combo, apart from some crispy bacon added
