"Not tinned..

Fresh tomatoes?"

Is this like a 'do you have toilet roll', covid thing? I have a fuckton of carton tomatoes from an ill advised stint on Hello Fresh. Last year I had an absolute fuckton of fresh tomatoes from my allotment... I don't even really like tomatoes and what you buy in the local supermarkets are far from 'fresh'

Yesterday I bought fresh cherry tomatoes from the local Aldi. They also had chillies that I couldn't get from the nearby big Tesco. All tasted wonderful in the thai-style chicken stir fry I made for friends tonight (well, Saturday, you know what I mean).

Still got a couple of helpings of leftovers, if anyone local wants to come round and taste my chicken...

They used to grow in abundance on the local sewage works land-tip, as did massive mushrooms and marijuana until they made sterilisation of budgie seed a legal requirement.

Years ago. Don't buy them. I should do really. There are plenty out there.
