I went to the most amazing drag/cabaret show today.

I’d never been to one before, and I knew it was going to be brilliant but one of the people I went with was unsure, and by the end she had the biggest smile on her face. So much laughing, singing, dancing. Fantastic cabaret acts and I honestly cannot get my head around how fabulous the drag artistes looked. My face hurts from laughing so much

Just need to talk more people into going, so I can go back and do it all over again!

Have you ever been to a drag/cabaret? What were your experiences?

Funny Girls in Blackpool, been dressed and in male mode enjoyed both shows. Also been to several gay pubs in which the DJ is a drag act, so highly recommend those evenings as well.

Been to quite a few drag, comedy nights, cabarets, burlesque shows, strippers nights, bingo callers

Always a top night out

I went to a lady's night at a 'gentleman's club' in town, the host was a drag artist who was absolutely fantastic.

I'm also a fan of RuPauls drag show, some of them are stunning

Yes. We’ve gone to a few to support some of our friends.

The last one we went to in London hosted by Baby Lame I ended up on stage during one of the acts.

Was yours a local show, or was it one of the American acts doing a tour?

The Mes wants to go to Drag con one of these days.

It was in London, ‘Proud City’. My group all said how much we loved the supportive, accepting, fun crowd the show had attracted. Did you enjoy going on stage?

We go often to Burlesque/ Drag shows it is always a great time. His daughter from a previous marriage belongs to a troupe. It's gets awkward sometimes for him but he supports her ambitions.

I went to the Drag Night of our big local gay bar last week - it was a great night! 'Wilma Fingadoo' was mostly stand up with some songs peppered in and held the whole club in the palm of her hand. Amazing legs!
