I bake bread every two or three days. Cookies when I feel like it. More extravant stuff here and there, like spelt, sage and apple cakes when the apples are falling from the trees, and cinnamon rolls when the cold nights come in.

Right now I’m on pizza for dinner. My dough’s proving as I type.

I bake cakes now and then.

I made a few lovely bakewell cakes and Victoria sponges with fresh cream and strawberries.

Lemon drizzle and banana cakes are easy to make.

I haven’t made a pie in ages.
