I'm having problems at work. They want to change my contact. I'm just not sure who I can contact to get some free legal advice. Has anyone on here had a similar problem and who helped you

Some home insurance policies include free legal advice. If it's a reasonably straight forward question, maybe worth a look. If you a member of a union, they often have similar service.

Acas is always good as a first port of call.

ACAS should be your first port of call.

Then you can look at citizens advice.

Alternatively your house insurance may have things for legal cover.

Are you able to get to a Citizens Advice Bureau? They may be able to provide some basic advice.

I think you’ll find that they can change your contract, but what most companies do is make the job redundant and you have to apply for it I won’t be able to change your pay or benefits. Hope this is helpful you

You might want to also look into the CAB at the same time. I don't know of any reason why you can't seek advice from the two organisations at the same time and it may be that one takes longer to come back to you than the other due to resourcing.

Good luck OP.

I run a business with around 300 people, so have a lot of employment experience

Best place to start is gov.co.uk which is actually really good site. Companies can change contracts but it is a negotiation.

If you are struggling then message me direct.

Best of luck
