from the thread about child benefit changes, my freind who works for housing benefit has just informed me that they are looking at taking into consideration income from the partner of some one who claims as a single parent but has a boyfreind/girlfreind that they see regularly that is working,but they dont live togther,

i dont mean people who purposley live apart to claim benefit, i mean people like myself that doesnt live with but enjoys the other benefits (not financial) that a partner of the opposite sex brings...

i dont get how they are going to bring that in force

OMG, surely that person will already be paying rent or whatever for their own place.

My sister comes round mine quite a bit for coffee/dinner/evening chats. Will they be asking her for help with my rent too?? Haha xx
