I guess I must live under a rock because I read half the threads on here talking about famous people and realise I have literally no idea who they are.

It's not just celebrities mentioned in the forums, most celebrity episodes of programmes on the TV I don't know who they are.

Yes definitely, I don't know who they are or what they're famous for. I don't watch TV very often.

Apparently I live in a cave! I have no idea of 90% of the celebrities mentioned anywhere, not just fab. I dislike the notion of celebrity and don’t keep up with their antics or the gutter press that follow them around like puppies.

Obviously I come across some on tv panel shows and the like.

Whenever watch celeb quiz shows with a friend, first q is usually how many do we know. Results vary and depend on how they are celebs. I rarely know those classed as celeb for their online platform followers.

Same here,no idea who many of them are. However, you don't necessarily have to do anything special to be a celeb nowadays,a lot of it is about enhancing a social media presence, stuff like rise.global and brand24 ratings, basically you chuck some cash at an agency, they create an image for you and buy you a few 100k followers on whatever platform, and suddenly you're a celeb. It's shit of course, but hey.

Couldn’t agree more, these vacuous talentless “celebs” do nothing and offer nothing but are promoted through the roof by the tabloids just to build them up, then break them just to sell papers. As much a part of the problem is the people who actually give a shit
