Working on the theory that to run out of messages they’ve probably spammed every poor bastard on Fab I can’t resist sending them a cheeky wink whenever I see this status.

Have often wondered what on earth the person has been up to when they say they have run out of messages, and how many messages they must have sent to get to that stage. Poor sods.

Maybe he is just bluffing about running out so he gets messages like this. Potential genius move, but then again I guess he still wouldn’t get the meet.

Didn’t know you could run out of messages though. Went a bit nuts during my first week but I am far more reserved now.

I've never seen a deinitive answer to this question. I do remember one mod hinting that it has more to do with the volume and rate of sending messages that kick in an anti-spam block

In a forum thread on this a long time ago it was said to be 400 messages a day

The only time I've ever seen this is on womens profiles who aren't site supporters and always assumed it was a subtle way of getting guys to offer to pay there subscription.

I thought I was alone in thinking that but I've seen it mentioned a few times here.

It happened to me when I was first on fab, before I subscribed. It's why I ended up subscribing tbh as I wasn't on forums and chatted in DMs only for the first year.

Can't recall what the number is though. Just recall getting an admin text or something similar, to say no more available until the next day.

Yes, that's consistent with what I've just seen. New local profile out of messages after just 2 hours. But NOT a site supporter.
