North East Scotland, mostly

Have you ever read something that has completely blown your mind, and given you an entirely new perspective? A book, an article, one of my fab threads?!

Tell me all about it!

When I found out the the inner monologue is an actual thing (and not just artistic license used in films to explain what a character is thinking) my head pretty much exploded.

Yes. A book I bought about 8 years ago about WW2. Halfway through it, what I can only describe as a massive awakening, turning my worldview upside down, happened

Does that mean you don’t have an inner monologue? That blows my mind cos mine never stops!

I loved the bit where he came back as a zombie…

….or possibly a vampire - it wasn’t expressly stated. I’m guessing a zombie though as he was seen in the daytime

Yes, exactly that! No narrator in my head... I can't even describe what it actually is though. Just thoughts, I guess?!

All the time, I’m always reading something.

Today i read how you calm a falcon by raising it to eye level, because eagles always attack them from above , so being over the falcon will make it very anxious and it will feel threatened.

I read the use by date on a blt sandwich I bought from a corner shop for lunch today.

Unfortunately I’d already eaten it.

It was last Friday.

Mind blown.

And probably guts…

Yes, oddly a stand up comedian, he shares a POV about relationships, it’s called jigsaw. Worth a look

Gapping Fanny

Most of the comments I read online.

I wonder how these people were able to leave their mothers teat and survive in this big bad world if they need the help of others to determine their (facial)hair style, their fitness regimen, what they should eat etc.

Daniel Sloss, he has two episodes on net, it’s the last half of the second episode, he’s good although has a dark sense of humour but the POV he gives is kinda eye opening

Probably everyone already knows it, but I read that a female foetus will develop all her eggs before she is born, so a person starts their cellular life inside their Grandma. Which is quite lovely I thought.
