Not only is it St Dave’s Day (see other threads) today is the first day of Meteorological Spring!

Winter can get in the bin.

It’s one of my fave seasons of the year (tied with 3 others) and it’s always nice to see new life and the warmer weather hopefully around the corner!

What’s your fave season and why, Fabsters?

Of course, for the Astronomical Season fans amongst us, it’s not Spring really until the Equinox on March 20th, but I can’t wait for that!

I love Autumn. Cold, crisp sunny days, wrap up in boots, hats and a scarf,go for walks.

I love the idea of Spring but I'm far too busy to enjoy it.

"Soring is here?! FFS! "

I wondered what soring was

There's a nice definition of sorin on urban dictionary if you're brave enough to look

I like Spring with a p!

Late Spring is my birthday, and also the only time of year I can get out in the sun without frying!

Spring is definitely my favourite time of the year

However it’s not feeling much like it out there yet!

Every day gets a little longer though and it’s noticeable now

Autumn and early winter

The transition from warm summer to slightly more cooling temperatures. The atmosphere and aesthetic is welcoming.

I'm a sucker for autumn clothing. Warm feeling without covering up too much. Looks some of the best too. Makes a perfect excuse for staying in with somebody.

I love Spring. Its the start of new life.

Sadly some of us might have to wait just a little longer while we get snow next week (Carol Kirkwood just said so)

Is soring a combination of spring and snoring?

It certainly needs to get warmer. So tired of being cold now and with costs of heating there seems to be no escape.

Got to love spring - it might still take a while but at least you know the longer, warmer days are coming.

(BUMP)

Yay! Spring (not Soring, gawd only knows what that was all about ) is here whichever way you look at it tomorrow (astronomically or meteorologically)

Do you like the Spring?

Lambs are already in many fields, the daffodils and crocuses are out, the buds are starting to appear on trees and bushes…

Or are you more of a fan of the other seasons instead?

I’m curious to know, Fabsters
