Asked this in the Irish forum aswell thought I'd try get a wider opinion. Do women actually like guys in uniform with the traditional sexy jobs? The pilot/fireman/soldier heart throbs.

And is it the uniform or the job?

Yes, I like the traditional sexy uniform like police officer, fireman ect.. and I think its abit of both I like the sense of security and very hands on, man's man that I like aswell as the uniform like whatever it is he's got it covered!

NO woman here who has answered that they like uniforms would extend that to a uniform on a bloke they don't find sexually attractive.....

Bloke first , uniform second.

For me the whole..... 'look @ me i'm a soldier' bit is a put off.

And going by the responses men get when they ask in the forums many others find it a put off too.

I spent most of my life in one uniform or another and on balance, yes a fair few women find it a turn on, and will usually say as much. Whether it’s the danger, perception of authority or whatever I don’t know, or care…

I tend to not state I wear a uniform unless I’m asked what I do because people are so easy to stereotype you and everyone jumps on the band wagon straight away so yeah unless they ask I steer away from it really

I once had to hitch from Chelsea back to Cornwall in Royal Navy mess dress (whole other story why I was still there at 8am on a Sunday)

It was mostly women who stopped and picked me up..
