Young people don't have the same excuse we were able to use. I wonder what they say now?

I was able to deny smoking by saying I was on the top deck of the bus.

What excuses did you use and what do the younger generation use?

Oh as a teenager I claimed innocence in many a situation just by saying 'I wouldn't do that .... I wasn't brought up that way!' LOL half of it was true!

I always smelled of fags and booze. I grew up in a pub.
