Just been browsing through profiles and come across someone that's using my picture on his profile, he refused to remove it and says it's his. I'd like to know how you got hold of my camera and personally took it from my camera or did he copy from my profile.

How many other people have experienced this?

I had this when I first joined the site many years ago!

Someone ripped off all of my pics, I was tipped off and messaged him saying “nice pics”. He messaged back to say “thanks!”

Report the profile - they will investigate.

Your pics will obviously have been loaded before his so they’ll know he’s the imposter and deal with it!

It is quite a common thing on here, pictures from others profiles are often shared on messaging platforms too.

I've had it a few times. There's still someone using them in their friends only photos now which people have made me aware of. All you can do is report to admin and block the profile so they can't steal anymore.

Mine have been taken by 3 different people that I'm aware of including one regular forum poster who has been here longer than I have. All three copied and pasted my entire bio as their own as well.

I found out through others who contacted me.

The popular forumite attached the pics to abusive messages to women but as he was so fucking lazy he hadn't even attempted to remove my name from any of the pics.

They had all blocked me but were reported by others.

One claimed to have no knowledge of me at all despite the name on the pics, one apologised through a third party but the forumite continued to post on here long after the incident.

Yes OP it’s pretty common. I had a guy steal mine. Eventually with a lot of effort reporting it from me plus friends Admin eventually suspended his profile. Only for him to create another. This is why I watermark all my photos now. He’s got those photos now and god knows what he’s doing with them elsewhere.
