The 1990 remake of, Night Of The Living Dead.

It was a very good reimagining of Romero’s classic, directed by long time Romero collaborator and special fx wizard, Tom Savini.

The always superb Tony (Candy Man) Todd played the role of Ben and far from going catatonic in fear, Susan in this version, kicked arse like a pro

And probably the greatest horror remake of them all: John Carpenter’s, The Thing

The Evil Dead.

If you can get past the fact that Ash Williams isn’t in this (sacrilege!!!) apart from Bruce Campbell’s tiny cameo right at the very end, then there is actually much to enjoy here. It’s also delightfully icky

I did too I think I was about 8 at the time, scared the life out of me!! I did read somewhere recently that was a mask they had specially made for the dog, one well trained dog!

Dredd. It's a bit gory. But such an enjoyable watch, gritty and moving in parts. And beautiful cinematography, esp with the slowed down moments.

I absolutely love The Thing as well. It's one of my favourite films of all time.

The Wicker Man……

I’m taking the piss of course as it’s pretty blooming terrible, BUT….Nicolas Cage’s demented OTT performance is certainly worth a watch for a chuckle.

100% Dredd was way better than Stallones Judge Dredd. Though that film did get the ABC Warrior and Mean Angel spot on.

And it's happy 46th birthday to Judge Dredd (comic strip) this coming Sunday (March 5th). First appeared in Prog 2 of 2000AD in 1977.
