Just putting this out there really. As the title says, can you really find love on this site?

I'm single and have been for a while now. Would love to meet someone and explore together.

I've been on dating sites such a tinder etc but generally have no luck.

Yup. .you can ..but just make sure the other person thinks and wants the same as you, you can fall for someone and unfortunately they don't feel the same way , if that happens it's best to leave things because it can ...and does ..hurt.

I think I'm a closeted romantic so may be a tad biased. But yes OP, I truly believe you can. Love isn't something you force to happen, it springs up on you when you're not expecting it, when you're open to it but not actively forcing it into existence.

Sometimes on sites like these it can feel disheartening - you have hopes and they're not immediately met. Or met in ways you didn't think they would be. You can find a myriad of love - it might be soulmates, it might be the love you have for friends or maybe a sense of loving and being loved by someone you adore.

But I think, if you step away from looking for love and focus on looking for joy. Things that bring you joy, spark you. It might not happen, it might. But don't lose hope. x

I completely agree. First off it would be nice to find a regular playmate who I have lots in common with and see how things progress from there.

To be honest, and I know it’s going back over old ground and everyone will deny it, but if you’re not in the popular group in the forum, ie. You never get a response to your posts or answers anyone taking any notice, you’re not going to be successful.

It doesn’t matter how much you read profiles and weather or not you send intelligent sincere opening messages.

Most don’t even get read.

It’s a shame. Because there’s some lovely ladies on here.

Unfortunately it’s just top heavy with insincere guys sending copied and pasted generic messages giving said ladies a mountain of mail to sort through.

Just my opinion entitled by freedom of speech.

At school I played a lot of rugby and carried that on to almost England level.

Being popular or not has never made one jot of difference to me.

A lot of people on here talk the talk about kindness and inclusivity for all.

But when it comes to walking the walk it’s a different story.
