I haven't tried microwaving them, I'll give that a go, thank you.

Pop them in your bra and chat softly to them.

Makes some things soften and others harden

Worth a try

I did once keep a chicken egg warm in my bra until I could get it into the airing cupboard. It hatched too

Somewhere In The Ether…

Top tip: Until they do eventually ripen (about ten years from now…) why not use them in a fascinating and rewarding arts and craft project in the meantime?

Simple take eight pipe cleaners and stick them, four either side, into your kiwi fruit and voila! A scarily realistic tarantula that will simultaneously serve to both impress and repulse all friends and family

Oh dear - are they in season?

I find they are either watery +tasteless or like bullets on the rare occasion i buy them

Would putting them with a banana in a brown paper bag help?

It might if I had a banana or a bag .

I will give them a couple more days and it'll be the microwave, smoothie or compost route

Threaten them with any of those and they might ripen quicker

They're looking at me from the fruit bowl now, I might give them a stern talking to.

Haven't eaten one since I was a child. I once helped myself to a kiwi from the shopping as we were waiting on my mum to pay....

Big mistake

One firey mouth later in reaction to whatever pesticides were on the skin ..... and I ended up walking home with a melting icecream smooshed in my mouth to ease the burning
