Shower/hair wash/shave about 15 mins, dry hair 5 mins, make up 5 mins, get dressed 10 mins = total 40 mins....therefore allow for an hour in case I change my mind about any item of clothing.

Hmmmmm

Bathe, shave and wash hair - around a hour

Dry and style hair - forty five mins

choose what to wear - sigh

Paint toe nails, put on body lotions and get dressed - around fifteen to twenty mins

Do make up - around 15 mins

final spritz of perfume, refix hair, shoes on, choose accessories etc - fifteen mins

Do finger nails - around 15 mins ( do these last so they dry on the journey there lol)

so a good few hours.

On the flip side

while i am getting ready for three hours, here is hubby.

Shower and shave bits - 10 mins

Shave face - 5 mins

rub a git of wax in hair, spray on a bit of aftershave and brush teeth - 5 mins

Get dressed ( in clothes that the clothes fairy has already chosen and payed out for him!) 5 mins

He normally starts getting ready once i am already dressed and just need to do nails and make up - yet he still stands there tapping his foot waiting for me lol

If hair and nails were already done and clothes were already put out, i could probably get ready in less than an hour.

But, to me the getting ready is part of the build up to the meet and i aactually enjoy it. I am normally partaking in a glass of wine while i am in the bath and the whole routine gets me in the mood for the play.

Agree, its all about the hair and smelling nice.

I'll shower beforehand obviously, but if I'm meeting at chams, i'll normally shower again just after I've de-clothed and squirt a little nice smelling stuff.

But I won't let a drop of water touch my hair, in chams, which can be fun when I'm in the jacuzzi lol or when several of the chams staff are purposely trying to rough it up lol

M does something similar!

He asks me how long, I say 20 mins, he says ok.

20 mins later he gets ready and then asks again how long

I personally can take an hour to 3, really depends

currently about two weeks. Send speculative emails to everyone within 50 miles of me. Wait for a response, any response. Bombard them with hourly messages accusing them of being timewasters, false couples and too fussy until i browbeat them into meeting. 5 mins to change underwear and hide smell with aftershave. Fly out the door to get to meet on time, get halfway there and decide i didn't fancy them anyway. Go back home and delete profile.
