We're living near Varna, Bulgaria.

2 tea spoons, heaped of instant (or scum class) as I refer to it.

Last week I tried a packet of Taylor's "Hot Lava Java", number 6 on the strength scale! Turns out that Taylor's must make it from roasted turnips or something, more Therese Coffey than good strong coffee. Using double my normal measures, it produced a fairly feeble mild tasting brown liquid with zero wake-up potential...

Wtf? I don't drink coffee but whenever I've made it for others no one has ever asks for more than 1 spoon.

I'm a bit of a coffee-head, have fresh-brewed coffee every morning, and for any other time, I use extra-strong coffee-bags.

My favoured brands include "Seriously Strong Coffee" and "Fuck Me - That's Strong Coffee", as well as certain ones with chemical 420 in it (although this is medicinal - honest!)

A knighthood should be bestowed on the genius who thought: "Hmmm, wonder if you can make coffee using the same principle as teabags?"

I always use my travel mug, yes even at home and I put 3 in that but it does hold about 2 and half cups of coffee.

1 pod or 1 spoon when having instant... thought that was standard. Am quite surprised with the replies

Drink far too much coffee

2 pods in a cup at home perfect or 3 heaped teaspoons of office coffee with sugar to hide the taste

Manchester-ish

Does everyone else have enormous mugs? If it's instant then 1 heaped teaspoon. At home we have a bean to cup machine.
