"What cinema is that? Our local premier is £4 for adults or £3.50 for a family of 4, with at least one child. The snacks there are expensive but we take our own and buy the drinks there, because I like their iced cherry drink."

"I feel a little sorry for the cinema industry, the quality of films that have come out recently and since the pandemic has dropped considerably. I pay monthly for my cinema as I love it but the quality and quantity has dropped so barring a huge marvel release or something like Avatar not to many people are going. Many are going straight to steaming services. They’re then in the sticky position of having to put prices up to make money and also not drive away customers which is very difficult to balance. £40 is ridiculous though and that cinema has clearly got the balance wrong. " I used to go to Reel Hull in St Stephens last time for my movie fix. I hope the prices there are still decent enough? Cinema offerings down here in Bath and Bristol are crap.

"I pay £16.99 for a Cineworld unlimited card. If I want to watch a film in 3D or 4DX then it's £5 per viewing. The Unlimited also gives kiosk discounts and restaurant discounts I love my cinema nights and will go 3 or 4 times a month so it's worth it for me. Also I don't drink or smoke. " This ^^^ Additionally if I go away I can often use my card for no additional cost, or a small uplift. Given that one ticket costs £10-15 usually, it’s easy to get your monies worth. Additionally you get benefits such as discounts at some restaurants as well as early release showings and secret showings

"Just off to watch a movie today. Using the meerkat voucher and still works out as almost £40 for 2 adults and a child. Not planning on getting any snacks. Last film I saw was the last James Bond and it was no where near that expensive. " £6 for an adult in the view at paignton

" We have a Reel cinema local to us in Birmingham. It's only has 4 screens, but I much prefer going there. It's cheaper than the large multiplex ones, and it support a cinema that's been open since the 1930s. Last film I saw was a one night screening of Goodfellas. Absolutely amazing to see one of my favourite films on the big screen. XX
