It’s Pancake day… you flipped it and shoved it on a warm plate…

Now what do you ask for to get it filled the way you like it?

It’s lemon and sugar right? Or do you prefer something with some squirty cream?

This! Although today, because I have packed my frying pan, I’m off to the local American cafe and they don’t do British classics. So it’ll be maple syrup for me today (which is cool because I’m 1/4 Canadian)

Really depends what’s already in the bin when the pancake lands in there. Why anyone wants to eat a thin slab of flavourless stodge is beyond me.

I make banana pancakes with cinnamon and a light drizzle of golden syrup and some nice vanilla ice cream goes well.
