Having read numerous threads about catfish and people being far from their photos when meeting up, how many fabbers actually look better than their pictures?

Lots of people aren't photogenic and for the singles getting a great set of shots can be a real challenge.

Hands up if you think you look better in real life, this thread is for you!

I think I do. Cameras are so good these days that I take a pic and never like it. It shows the tiniest wrinkles and flaws and I think god that’s awful, then when I look in the mirror it doesn’t seem as bad

As for me my pics are up. Some may say not their type,what only from a picture angle.

Im the flesh its very real and how you carry yourself.

Non of us are perfect, even though many project that image. And thats all it is and image.

I am not shy nor ashamed to meet up in public face to face have nothing to hide.

I’m not sure, I guess so. It depends on the other persons view in there own head. I’m definitely funnier and more caring in real life, on a forum or online in general you can’t feel the emotion, passion and sense of utmost humour I bring to the table (or bed/sofa)

I would say I look much better in a still image.

Once you get movement going it's not pretty. I wobble and jiggle a lot, and my facial expressions are awful. You see more of my wonky teeth and double chin and chubby cheeks and it's not an enjoyable thing to look at.

Now don't get me wrong my photos do reflect me well, but the still captured image is a much better version.

I look waaaaaaay way better in real life. It’s not that I look different per se - everyone I meet says I look like my pictures. But not only am I shit at taking selfies, I’m animated in real life.

The 3D me who talks and smiles and moves is so much more appealing than the still photos with a dodgy smile

I’m also able to get my personality across and that has been coping with the appearance gap for years

I don't see myself as being particularly photogenic.

I'm not sure if I look better in real life... will ask some dicks I know for their honest opinion and get back to this thread.

I think generally people do - you get the full picture. Their expressions, the way their eyes light up when they're happy, their features soften when they're relaxed. Even hearing someone makes a difference to how I see someone.

That being said, sometimes you see a photo and it's perfect. You get so much from one image. If someone is able to capture another's essence I think that's incredibly skilled.

1) I don’t show my face on here publicly, so when people do get to see the face they usually seem happily surprised
