To be fair, having knocked Barca out, we shouldn't have reason to fear anyone. But Arsenal are now probably the best opposition left in the tournament but depends how they go in the league.

How can you spend so much money and bring in so many players and not bring in a proper striker!!!

Fucking get in!!! Crazy to think where Man United are now after so many wrote us off after losing 4-0 to Brentford. Some will say it's only the League Cup but with it being 6 years since out last trophy, I'll take it and hopefully it's a sign of things to come!

Commiserations to Newcastle fans though. They're building a strong side and should be proud of where they are in the league and for getting to a cup final after where they were next season. I'm sure they'll have many trophies to celebrate in the near future

On a different note... You didn't play bad, as hard as that is for me to say..... You just didn't have it in the final 3rd and need to replace Wilson with someone who's a decent forward..

I think we were the better team for large parts of the match. We just lack that cutting edge like we have since the World Cup. Isak looked sharp and Saint-Maximin was lively.

With the direction the club is going this won’t be our last final and no doubt the players and fans will do us proud once again.

Genuinely embarrassed after that. I felt like that would be our best chance to win at Anfield for years and they just capitulated after going a goal down with no fight or will to come back. It doesn't matter that Liverpool are 5th and were embarrassed on the same ground by Real Madrid or that they're out of all competitions while United are in 3rd with a trophy already won, there was no excuse for that performance and can hope Ten Hag gives them an absolute bollocking.

Half the United team needs selling and half the team needs benching. Horrific collapse.

I wanted to say better losing 7-0 to an opponent team than being 7 points behind them in the league table... But who am I kidding? Been a United fan since the 1999 Treble and all through the lean post-SAF days, sure we weren't winning trophies that much and United struggled but I don't believe I've seen United THROW a game which looked even by half time even with a goal down in such a fashion.

Yeah, just like the Brentford result, this one doesn't define our season. If we can secure top 4 now with the league cup in the bad, it would be a good first season under Ten Hag.

It was bad, but let's not be too hasty. This was the team that got us to this point if the season in the first place. We do need reinforcements though. Another forward to help with the goals, another 10 to give Fernandes a break when needed, and a DM so we're not so reliant on Casemiro.

Nice little bounce back from United against Betis and back to playing the way we know we can. Hopefully it shows that Sunday was a freak result we can put in the rearview mirror

Casemiro has been sent off for the second time this season which is annoying. It was a red, but apparently breaking Donny's leg and Carroll scything down Eriksen is completely fine. These refs and VAR can do one

4 games as it's his second straight red card. 3 league games and an FA Cup tie. At least we're still 8 points above 5th though

If it’s a straight red..because he has been sent off already this season it will be 2 games if it’s a normal foul, or 3 if it’s violent conduct

The trapdoor to National League obscurity seems to be avoided now this season, although we were in a very precarious position at the turn of the year.

Hoping for a 1-2 Away win

Both were red cards and two wrongs don't make a right. I can think of a couple of instances this season where United got shafted by refs for stuff that was let go in other games. iT eVenS ItsELf OuT oVeR A SeaSOn

Very lucky win for United and really doubt we would've won had Fulham notimploded. We were struggling to create chances and Fulham were all over us. That being said, Mitrovic and Silva were brain-dead complaining over what was a stonewall penalty and red card. Oh well, onto the semis we go!

. Not sure when Eriksen is back but we desperately need his creativity from deep midfield. As a senior player for Fulham Mitrovic badly let down his team as with 10 men they may have got to extra time and penalties but not with 9 thanks to Mitrovic hopefully we can go on and lift the FA Cup & Europa League as well as a top 4 finish

. When Liverpool smashed Man Utd it was a case of Liverpool’s front 3 all been outstanding after all they did score 6 of the 7 goals between them and Man Utd just totally fell apart in the 2nd half.It was the hardest Monday at work that I have had as going into the game I felt we had a chance of winning it

City are definitely leading the way, though this season suggests Arsenal can put up a challenge, and United to be on the right track to begin to threaten.

Antony was absolutely fine against Dan Burn, sure he could've more direct but was not the worst part about our team today and he doesn't even play in the same position as Trossard to make a comparison. Credit to Newcastle though. They were absolute value for their win and look to be back to where they were before their little slump. Top 4 race is now very interesting
