Cheshire

Go to the Northern Quarter it’s got some great eateries there now.

I like Afflecks Palace but admittedly not been inside for quite a few years.

Avoid Piccadilly gardens. If you’re straight avoid the Village too many tourists.

We were due to stay at The Innside early next month

Alas, a £600 vets bill has put paid to that, so we're just sticking to the theatre and a train home

That's such a shame. It's a lovely hotel, we were once upgraded to a suite and it was amazing!

"What's one thing that anybody needs to do when visiting Manchester "

Need to find out how to get there from Cupid's.

Only joking. Been there (Manchester) a couple of times for conferences and lost no time finding Swinton!

Only problem was that Cupid's was dead as a dodo on Friday afternoons!

I think it was The Clayton that only offered wheelchair accessible rooms at the higher price bracket, so we decided to look elsewhere. I might have misremembered though

Yeah, lots of hotels only have accessible rooms in their "delux" or "superior" option. If there's a budget or basic double room, it's often the case that none of them are accessible. Just another way being disabled costs more money!

Lots of good swingers clubs in and around. I’ve only been to Partners but Cupids is supposed to be good.

If you’re into hiking and outdoors we’re a stones throw away from the Peak District. I went to Edale last week and to greenfield the week before. Was absolutely lovely.

I’ve also started rock climbing in one of the many bouldering gyms which is really fun too.

Then there’s plenty of cool bars and pubs to visit too.
