It's so easy to laugh, it's so easy to hate. It takes guts to be gentle and kind

Same. There’s no one I hate , even people that have been complete dicks to me in the past I’m just like whatever , barely give them a thought

Hate means to extremely dislike and yeah I do extremely dislike some things and some people. As for which is easier, I don’t give it anymore thought than I like you or I don’t so I’ve no idea. I’m not really an overthinker

Love I would say is harder as it would take so much commitment ?

To hate someone can be done from their action…so little ‘work’ on your part….

My default is being nice and to like.

People tend to push me either way from there. Some make me love them, some not so much!

I love several people, and that never goes away.

I have felt hate for people, but it fades quickly, and they no longer mean enough to me for me to feel any way about them.

I don’t think I truly hate anyone in real life. Im not counting people I’ve never interacted with like Hitler etc. I hate some behaviours & events.

I tend towards accepting and I suppose loving people for what they are.

One isn’t easier than the other. They’re just emotions. Most of which are fleeting.

I don't waste energy hating people, they're not worth it.

I don't love particularly easily either, few people manage to thaw my icy cold heart.

They're both extreme emotions though - I like people easily.

I love easily. Not in the "wuv, twoo wuv" sense, but in the way that I love my fellow man, my family, friends and acquaintances.

I don't think I truly hate anyone. I dislike some people and would rather not spend time in their company, but I don't think I could maintain true hatred as it feels a lot of effort for no benefit.

For me love is easy, hatred is difficult.

Find hate very hard as I'm always trying to understand others behaviours.

That being said I've a blanket hatred towards abusers of any kind, that I will never understand.

It's far easier and far more pleasant to love.

I've only ever hated 2 people and they were both people I formerly loved, a partner and my step-father. Both hurt me astronomically and the hate was an all-consuming, anguish filled experience. Fortunately, I worked through it and the emotion faded. I don't want to waste that much energy on such negativity again.

Both have the potential to hurt me and in the past both have done exactly that so I don't find it easy to do either.

I am comfortable saying that I love people as my friends and family and I like to think I show that in my actions rather than having to verbalise it.

I would have said I don't have the capacity for hate.

Even with everything I've gone through in life and growing up in what was literally a warzone I came through all that without resorting to hate.

There have been lots of people I dislike because of their words and actions and how they have treated others.

There are others I really dislike because of their lack of humanity and humility and there is no going back because of that but hate is too strong a word.

For me to hate someone would involve validation and I prefer to view them as insignificant and unimportant and don't waste my time on them.

I love very few people, but it comes easy with them. I can't say I have ever truly hated anyone, and I have known some evil buggers who the planet would not miss.
