Worthing

Bon died during AC/DCs pre-production for the Back in Black album. A lot of his songs were still in their set years later. The films Rock School and Iron Man 3 also featured a few.

I loved it when Axl joined AC/DC for a tour. There was some rarely played gems from the Bon era.

He was a much underrated lyricist and singer. My favourite will always be Rosie, a great story and guitar solo.

In hindsight, it's a shame management and the whole behind the scenes organisation did not do more to get him away from the bottle. Had so much more to give.

That would have been nearly all rock stars back then.

Bon is a legend. Great front man. Axl did a fantastic job and the band were able to perform songs like touch to much again which haven't been able to fo gor a long time.

There is a road called Bon Scott Place in Kirriemuir in Scotland where he grew up (my mums house overlooks it), they also have a statue of him which was put up in 2016 and there is as Festival, Bon-Fest each year since 2006 (I think they did skip the COVID years though.), this year it is 28th to 30th April.

Kirrie was also where J.M. Barrie grew up so also has a Peter Pan statue.

Love Bon. Best front man of any band. He may be gone but his music and voice lives on.

I've seen the Bon Scott statue in Fremantle, Perth Australia. Such a talented man gone too soon
