Raw tomatoes. Love the look and the smell, and I'm fine with them cooked, but they were the only thing I'd always refuse, even as a baby.

Not a fan of garlic, either, at least as a main flavour.

I love mushrooms and coriander.

Gorgeous cooked in its own juices (though not for long or it goes rubbery) with onions, peppers, garlic and mild (to my taste - others might like hotter ones) chillies. Add a small dash of red wine if you have any Perfect on its own as a starter (even better with a chunk of crusty bread for dipping in the juices). As a main course add mushrooms to the pan and eat with mini garlic, herb and olive oil roasted potatoes.

I won't eat a soup with coriander floating in it and I pick it out of ready made sandwiches if I don't notice it on the ingredients.

I use ground coriander in curries.

Mackerel. Tastes foul while you eat it, then even fouler for hours later as it keeps repeating on you
