I've seen forum users who I chatted with in the last couple of weeks and I can't for the life of me remember what was said. Can't even remember hearing from them.

I wish there was a way I could click on the profile and see previous conversations.

Sometimes ... sometimes l go to send a message regards something they've said on the forums etc and am told that l've already sent a message and have received no reply so then l don't send one.

We often get new profiles who message us as if they are new onto FAB but I have a fantastic memory and can remember pics sent to us on their old profile

Don’t think they are that impressed that they’ve started a new profile to start FAB again and I’m saying welcome back

This seems to be common and there are a few clues.

One - if you stay logged into Fab when you see profiles, the ones you've viewed before have purple writing and if not, it's blue.

Two - when you view a profile it will tell you if you've winked or messaged previously

Three - if you do message someone again, your old messages should appear in the thread.

We get people messaging us again only weeks after making it clear that they're not for us. Often with exactly the same message, word for word.

Open the profile, press the 3 limes menu and your privates notes option comes up.

I use it to yes/no/maybe male profiles I have interacted with

Are the messages not still sat in your inbox or do you delete them?

I receive messages and then it will say you messaged this person 3 weeks ago, I use the private note function which I find useful.

I tend to leave private notes, which is a feature I only learned about recently and it's been quite handy to keep track if people I've converse before and found we have nothing in common. It saves embarrassment if you messaged them again. But I do have friends that haven't had a convo in a while and we tend to have a catch up once in a while too

People change profile pics and names. I don't recognise most people when they change their profile pics. Also many are so similar I get them mixed up.
