This is why I rarely talk to people anymore, as you get a few messages in and if you don't wanna meet you're a time waster.

To me a time waster is someone who you make plans with and they don't let you know they aren't able to make it.

Depends. Ofc things happen in life but messaging, arranging a meet, cancelling, apologising, rearranging, cancelling etc. can become a pattern. For that reason second chances with me are rare, third chances are non existent.

This.....but only if you've done all your due diligence in advance and actually done more than messaged online.

If you've not gone the extra mile and talked on the phone, had a video chat or used your common sense to work out if they're a real person (e.g. verified by people you know or other 'reputable' sources), then you're as guilty of wasting your own time as they are.

Some people set themselves up to fail.

I’ve never been stood up yet but I’d class that as time wasting. Also someone who you chat to for a while and something just clicks in you telling you this person has no intention of ever meeting. Been caught out with that a few times. I’m a lot more careful these days

This Jungle is full of them , wine drinking couch surfers who just want compliments and never have any intention of ever meeting from the get go, the sad part is that you have to go through the hoops before it dawn's on you but you realise from the signs the next time so you don't waste any more time on them , once you realize that you block and have nothing more to do with them .

Well verified attractive couple contacted us on a Thursday, looking to meet on the Saturday. Communication flowed well and

we were very excited.

Mr was working till 9 ish, but negotiated and earlier leave at the cost of an extra full day's work..

I had hair, nails and wax done and arranged child care for the evening and overnight (in case..)

Everything sorted Friday and Saturday morning, place, time etc..

Then ghosted from 1pm till 10.45 when we get a "very sorry he couldn't get away from work"

WTAF!!

Ironically they messaged again 6 months later and winked us..

People who will waste your time by sweet talking and setting up a meet.. only to not show up. Radio silence, no replies. Even if they’re well verified and seem ‘genuine.’

I’m sure a lot of other TV/TS have the same experience? As many guys get cold feet and are too nervous (usually if they are first timers) maybe because being with us might be seen as ‘taboo’. That’s why I only meet guys who are confident in their TS attraction.

We have interacted with guys that were falling over themselves to show how keen they were to meet us. They then want lots of details or pics. Never have any intention of meeting.

I don't do chats as it tends to lead to expectations of me meeting them even when I've been clear from the very start that I'm not interested in meeting them. The only time they waste is their own if they ignore what I say and what's my profile.

I left a while ago because I was getting so many time wasters I was lucky if 1 in 10 would turn up.

I'm reasonably thick skinned but after awhile does gets to you. I have guys that have confirmed they are coming, but still don't turn up.

Our personal definition is not turning up to an arranged meet.

A no on Fab, or not being able to arrange a meet no matter how hard we try is not in our books a timewaster as I would have been on Fab anyway so its not as if I had plans to do anything else at that time.

Happened to me on Wednesday, got to the venue and messaged him to say I'd arrived, which he instantly read. I'd popped onto the site and discovered that he'd blocked me and deleted the photos he'd sent, as well as the photo on his WhatsApp- too late though as I'd already screengrabbed his pic beforehand

He'd also blocked me on WhatsApp, saved me the hassle. Reported and blocked everywhere, obviously. Just glad I hadn't travelled far and wasted petrol, times are hard after all

I'd popped onto the site and discovered that he'd blocked me and deleted the photos he'd sent, as well as the photo on his WhatsApp- too late though as I'd already screengrabbed his pic beforehand

He'd also blocked me on WhatsApp, saved me the hassle. Reported and blocked everywhere, obviously. Just glad I hadn't travelled far and wasted petrol, times are hard after all "

What about the time spent talking or chatting ?..A minute spent in a Timewasters company is a minute too much.

No , I don't think it is , if you say no you're just not interested, l don't think anyone is a Timewaster for being straight up,I've already stated what l think a Timewaster is and I think they are people best avoided at all times , if a person doesn't want to meet within a week or hasn't brought meeting up during the week chatting then they have no intention of meeting.

I would have been online chatting to people anyway, so in that respect I don't see time being wasted
