This music producing trio possessed the Midas touch from the mid eighties until the early nineties and absolutely dominated the charts, churning out hit after hit as though they were flying off of a conveyor belt.

Good folks: What was your favourite act from SAW and what was your favourite hit?

Best thing they did was Roadblock- the rest was sugar coated kiddie pop and music for the masses. Kylie improved greatly once she moved over to the influence on Michael Hutchence

SAW are my heroes and I won't have a word said against them.

OP - impossible to choose from but, if pushed, Respectable as it's one of the best pop songs ever made.

I did indeed Very interesting and in some scenes, quite moving to - not least of all Pete Waterman’s recollection of Mel Appleby’s sad passing.

Pete Waterman had quite a fair bit of success before he joined forces with them too, including putting out Uptown Top Ranking (Althea & Donna) & Musical Youth and even Nik Kershaw was one of his discoveries

I have often cited SAW as a HUGE influence on my musical tastes. As a teenager in the 80s I despised and detested their output so much it made me seek out "real" music and led to me embarking on an lifelong career in the music industry.

However, I will qualify this by saying in retrospect the achievements of SAW are mind-blowing and a lot of their output still holds up and is very much loved today. So absolute credit to them.

I've also met Pete Waterman several times over the years and he is an absolute top guy.

But to answer the OP's question of do I have a fave? Oh yes... Dead or Alive's You Spin Me Round is still a dance floor filling killer classic!
