Just reading a 9 year old girl has thought the idea up. So she could send a letter to her grandparents in heaven . Is it a thoughtful thing to do to help you with grief .

It sounds a lovely idea.

If children compose lists to Santa then this is a logical follow on.

Adults to if they so benefit from such a simple yet potent gesture; Transposing one’s thoughts onto paper can be incredibly cathartic as many psychologists will readily testify

I thought it was a lovely idea. Even if you don't believe in heaven necessarily, the act of writing a letter to someone who you can no longer speak to can be helpful in itself...
