No talk of love, cards, being single, chocolates, meal for one or any other nonsense associated with Valentine’s Day. Celebrate the million other reasons not to be drawn in on that crap. Already today there are threads about not getting any of the above. Seize the day and be happy with what you have, if not try and chat to someone you’ve got your eye on

I like Valentine’s Day, had a few really nice messages and a couple of cards and gifts and I’ve sent my daughters gifts, cooked a few meals for friends and this morning sent a few voice and video messages. Its just an excuse to show people I love them!

Did you think for a moment about those who can't celebrate love because they have been widowed... obviously not. There are already threads for valentines celebrations. Maybe scroll past the ones who choose not to...little sensitivity and all that jazz

I don't celebrate valentine's day, never have, never will. It's commercialised bollocks. We are quite happy showing our love to eachother all the time, not just one day of the year. Same with everyone else, I want them to know I love them always not just when hallmark says I should.
