Are any other nutters on here taking part in the Cancer Research UK cold water challenge in March.

I have done these before for various charities.

I shall be doing a mix of river, lake, sea, and cold showers during March.

I see no difference in anyway that people raise money for good causes, be that immersing themselves in cold water every day of March or running 5k to walking or riding a distance, it raises awareness and funds so its all good x

"We go in for fun and ourselves"

so do I but if I can raise a few quid for cancer research that's no bad thing

The last one I raised "was £790 the one before was just shy of a grand so it's all good

I enjoy wild swimming and generally being out in nature.

It's a really relaxing way to spend a summer afternoon. I swim through the winters too. Not so relaxing. But incredibly invigorating and amazing for your focus and mental health.
